Neuroplastic symptoms are not harmful they are protective

Today I talk about neuroplastic symptoms from the fight, flight, freeze, fawn perspective and how these reactions from the brain produce physical symptoms in the body. Those symptoms are not harmful they’re not structural issues in the body, they’re protective reactions felt physically in the body. They occur from the brain through the autonomic nervous system pathways. No damage is being done, in fact what’s happening is the brain is alerting you to danger it perceives. Two important things to understand:
- The symptoms themselves are not dangerous they’re protective.
- What the brain is perceiving as dangerous is usually from prior learning. So there’s not true danger present.
Have a watch and reach out if you need support or help to feel better from these symptoms. Everyone with a diagnosis of neuroplastic symptoms can feel better. Why? Because the brain makes these symptoms. The brain can also take them away. It’s called neuroplasticity, hence the term neuroplastic symptoms.
