Neuroplastic Symptoms are a Perception, not a Reality.

One of the most amazing things about neuroplastic symptoms is that as bad as they can feel, they are not actually dangerous. The symptoms come from perceptions of threat and danger at the brain level not actual threat and danger like a fracture or acute infection at the body level.
If something is a perception and not a reality, then how we approach would be very different. The problem occurs though, when we approach perception as reality. And especially when it comes to neuroplastic symptoms when we approach them as being real when they are just perceived.
We really feel them, they are are really happening in us. But the symptoms are not really dangerous or real in the sense it means real danger or threat. When the brain perceives danger or threat it can give us a real symptom you really feel in the body. The symptom is real but cause is perceived. That is the main thing to understand.
Neuroplastic symptoms most closely resemble anxiety. Anxiety is a classic case of perceived fear, not real fear. Even though it is perceived danger, it can create real symptoms in the body. Think of a panic/anxiety attack where you go to the hospital thinking and literally feeling you’re having a heart attack, but walk out a few hours later all clear because there is nothing really wrong. This is the same with neuroplastic symptoms. They feel really dangerous but they are not. They are perceptions of danger from your brain, not realities of danger from your body.
