Signs You Are Shifting Into The Healing State
When the brain and nervous system can settle, neuroplastic symptoms can settle. There are very real signs within us that signal we are moving from a stressed sympathetic state to a relaxed parasympathetic state. I go over some of these today that you may see within yourself as you make that transition from sympathetic to parasympathetic.
When we can get the parasympathetic state to activate and stay more dominant (parasympathetic dominance over sympathetic dominance), we will typically feel our best. More relaxed, more calm, more settled, more peaceful. And with less neuroplastic symptoms. The parasympathetic, once activated, will go to work on our behalf to reduce stress chemicals, inflammation, myofascial tension, etc. Our job is to get it activated and to learn to live there more often.
I will be running an upcoming live (and recorded) course for the month of May which I will talk more about in another post later. It will be about learning how in real time to activate your parasympathetic nervous system through a practice of letting the mind settle and letting the body soften. I will be teaching this practice so if you are interested you can sign-up with the link below.
