A Somatic Approach (April Class) to Healing Neuroplastic Symptoms

I have been running some classes each month and next month for April (4 weeks) I am excited to be going over how to approach neuroplastic symptoms from a somatic/experiential angle. What this means is learning and practicing ways to work with what we feel in the body from a felt sense level.

With neuroplastic symptoms, we experience painful and uncomfortable sensations in the body, and for many, these symptoms have become chronic. How we approach these symptoms somatically can be very important in terms of either reinforcing those symptoms or defusing those symptoms. This is because the brain is involved in the production but also in the reduction of symptoms. When we can change the brain’s perception and the way we attend to and approach symptoms somatically, we are changing the brain which can change the pain (or any other symptom).

We will be going over both unhelpful (negatively reinforcing) and helpful (reducing) ways of somatically approaching symptoms and feelings in the body. There will be ample time to learn and practice, as this class is very experiential in training. I look forward to helping you all get out of neuroplastic symptoms and a somatic approach can be a powerful way to do this. If you’re interested, please use the link below to book. The first class will be starting next Wednesday April 1st. The classes will also be recorded if you can’t make them live.
