The classes will cover a variety of areas with the main goal to teach your brain (and body) that you are safe and OK, and not under the danger or threat the brain perceives and then produces in your body through the symptoms. This is a rolling class so you can join at any time, no need to wait until a new month.
The group classes are emotion and somatic focused in nature. This is the core understanding- that emotional stress output from the brain produces very real physical symptoms in the body. These symptoms are physical in nature but emotionally produced by the limbic brain. The classes are meant to teach how to connect and work with these emotional symptoms in your body, as well as other mind-body aspects listed below.
Because emotional stress is connected not just to physical symptoms but to other things as well, we will talk about and understand thoughts, behaviors, attention (focus), sensitization, conditioning (learning), memories, etc.
